Cairo sends 30 tons of medical supplies to India
CAIRO: Egyptian Minister of Health and Population Hala Zayed announced that 30 tons of medical supplies have been sent to India to support its fight against the coronavirus pandemic, under the orders of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Khalid Mujahid, the ministry spokesperson, said that the shipment included 300 oxygen cylinders, 20 ventilators, 100 medical beds, 20 electrocardiographs, 30 defibrillators, 50 infusion pumps and 50 infusion syringes.
Mujahid said this shipment would be sent in cooperation with the Egyptian Armed Forces.
